Delivery Information

All orders placed before 11am Tuesday to Thursday are dispatched for next-day delivery. Orders received after 11am Thursday and before 11am Monday will be dispatched within 2 to 3 working days - this also applies to promotional items.

We use DPD and DX courier services for all our deliveries; if you have a preference, please let us know or make a note on your order. 

We charge a flat-rate delivery fee of £5.95 per order, which includes an environmentally friendly wool liner and ice packs to help keep the products frozen in transit. For information on recycling our packaging, please click here.

Upon receipt of your order, please put the product in your freezer as soon as possible. If some thawing has occurred during transit, please be assured that it is safe to refreeze.

We strive to provide a fast and reliable delivery service, but in adverse weather conditions or problems encountered by the courier during transit, your order may be delayed on the road by 24 hours. Our packaging is designed to withstand this delay.

In the rare event that there is any problem with your delivery, you can be fully assured that we will do everything possible to make it right. We value and seek long-term relationships with our customers. All manner of concerns will be addressed to the best of our ability.

Key Information

Once the shipment of your order has been processed, you will receive a shipping notification which will include your tracking number; please connect with the courier via their website or app to track your delivery and provide any delivery instructions if you are not going to be in at the estimated time of your delivery.

If you need to change the delivery day or address of your order, please contact us immediately upon receipt of the shipping notification. If your order is still with us, we will be happy to make any changes you require. If the courier has collected your order, then we will not be able to apply any changes to the delivery day or address.

Please note: The Farmer’s Dog will take no responsibility for any delays where customers have notified the courier to deliver on an alternative day, or failed deliveries where the customer has entered an incorrect address or postcode.

Delivery drivers are instructed not to return perishable items to the depot and therefore will leave your order without a signature on your doorstep, in your garden, or with a neighbour. If these locations are not acceptable, it is your responsibility to either be in at the time of your delivery or to add a delivery instruction/suitable place via the courier tracking app.

The Farmer’s Dog will not accept liability, issue replacements or refunds for orders that go missing when the courier's GPS
proves it to have been delivered to your property. If you believe your order has been stolen, you need to contact your local police to report the incident.

If you do not receive your order within 48 hours of dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible to enable us to rectify the matter.

Claims of incorrect, missing, or damaged items must be notified to The Farmer’s Dog within 24 hours of receipt, and supporting evidence supplied if requested.

Do you deliver to me?

We ship to all postcodes within mainland UK and Scottish Highland and Island postcodes with a Two-Day service.

Two-day locations are charged at a flat rate of £12.00 per order, with a minimum order requirement of 32 chubs. Our bones boxes are not available for dispatch to these areas.

Due to the nature of our product, we are not able to ship to the Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Orkney, Shetland Islands, Outer Hebrides, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland.
